On Friday, 25 September, I will be speaking at the AI Open House in Basel, part of the Swiss AI Weeks, the largest open AI movement in Switzerland. My session is called: documents, finally intelligent.
Why documents
Most documents in Swiss companies are unused data. Invoices, contracts, forms. We treat them as paper that has to be filed, while they carry exactly the information we later search for by hand. That gap between what a document contains and what a company can actually do with it is where I have been building for the past years, most visibly with DOCUVISIO.What I will show
No slides doing the heavy lifting. I will show live, on prepared example documents, how AI turns documents into structured data: extraction, validation, and what happens downstream once a system truly understands what it reads. One of the examples touches the revised Swiss anti-money-laundering rules, because a system that understands documents is already prepared when the rules of tomorrow change. That is the real point: not automation for its own sake, but readiness.The day itself
